The short version
Escala Sucia does not collect any data. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking of any kind. The app works fully offline, and everything you do inside it is stored only on your own device.
What is stored on your device
The app uses local, on-device storage (SwiftData and UserDefaults) to remember:
- Games in progress and finished games
- Score sheets, including manually entered real-table games
- Daily "mano del día" results and streaks
- Your house rules and presets
- Your app preferences (sound, music, haptics, table colours, relatives' pace)
- Player portraits you choose to add
None of this information ever leaves your device. It is never uploaded to a server, because Escala Sucia has no server or backend of any kind.
Camera and photo library
If you choose to add a portrait for yourself or another player, you can take a photo with the camera or pick one from your photo library. Escala Sucia only accesses the camera or photo library when you explicitly choose to do so from within the app, and the resulting image is stored only on your device as part of your local game data. Images are never transmitted anywhere.
Notifications
Escala Sucia can send an optional local reminder about the daily "mano del día" hand. This notification is scheduled entirely on your device by iOS; Escala Sucia does not use any remote push notification service, and no data about you is sent to enable it. You are asked for permission the first time you turn the reminder on, and you can turn it off at any time in Settings.
Third parties
Escala Sucia does not use any third-party analytics, advertising or tracking SDKs. No data is shared with any third party, because none is collected in the first place.
Children's privacy
Escala Sucia does not collect personal information from anyone, including children. The app is a family card game intended for general audiences.
Deleting your data
You can erase every piece of data the app has stored — games, score sheets, house rules and preferences — at any time from Settings → Erase everything. Uninstalling the app also removes all of its local data from your device.
Changes to this policy
If this policy ever changes, the update will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date.
